We realize any Dress
Code is an area subject to interpretation and it is not possible, nor
necessary, to provide a detailed guide covering all situations. General
guidelines are provided here, but all individuals are encouraged to remember that
at any point the BCC campus may be hosting a variety of social and athletic
activities occurring simultaneously. For example, banquet participants, members
entertaining special guests, and golfers all potentially mingle in the communal
areas of the clubhouse; that same mingling happens among tennis, pool and Lodge
facilities. Therefore, the spirit of this guidance is to support the high
overall image of BCC that is expected, while promoting fun and not offending
any member, guest or staff. Everyone is responsible for their own and their
guests’ compliance.
GOLF COURSE DRESS CODE:
This golf dress code
applies on the course and to all the practice areas. Again, what might be
inappropriate for adults and teens might well be very appropriate for smaller
children. Our members’ discretion is
relied upon.
Gentlemen
All golfers must wear a
golf shirt, no tee-shirts allowed and we prefer all shirts be tucked in and
worn neatly. Hats/visors must be worn correctly. No denim or cutoff shorts are
permitted. Knee-length shorts are considered proper attire.
Ladies
Female shirts that are designed to be untucked are
appropriate. Skirts and shorts that are designed for golf are appropriate.
Apparel designed for tennis or yoga are not permitted.
